[Founder of Bizverse becomes Head of METLAB Research Lab – the first Metaverse-intensive academic organization at a prestigious university in Vietnam]

Metaverse is regarded as the combination of technologies as well as an inevitable evolution of the Internet. Not only 03 Tech Giants like Microsoft, Meta, Google but the governments in Singapore, Korea and China are also investing in this technology. In the backdrop of Vietnam’s rapid integration with the world into the “complete digitalization” trend, researching and utilizing Metaverse as a promotion of digital transformation is critical to solve socio-economic difficulties.
Thenceforth, the Teaching and Research Group for Metaverse and Digital Transformation Technologies, known as METLAB, was established and implemented at The University of Danang (UD) with a mission to become a strong research group in the country and region, which would essentially contribute to meeting the needs of analyzing, training and applying metaverse to the digital transformation.
The University of Danang is a key university in the Central Highlands, training and providing high-quality human resources across the country and gradually becoming one of the National Universities. The METLAB research group at The University of Danang, which serves as the focal point of the UD’s Software Development Center (SDC), has brought together a large number of domestic and international experts and scientists. This is also the first university in Vietnam establishing the Lab and an intensive research group on Virtual Space Technology and Digital Transformation with the participation of more than 70 scientists from all over the world.
Congratulations Bizverse’s Founder on being chosen as the Head of METLAB Lab and cooperating with the scientists in developing METLAB into a model for other intensive research groups in the technology field. It aligns with UD’s strategy of forming interdisciplinary research groups; linking the Metaverse’s research to the application; as well as fostering collaboration between UD and other organizations for the sake of both parties in the comprehensive digital transformation process.
